during the drive home
we paralleled the Susquehana River for part of the drive:
I so wanted to know the story here - I could see this group from a distance, because Superman's cape was flailing in the breeze. He and the man were alternately picking up that pile (of clothes?) and dropping it back down furiously - they appeared to be arguing, while the other couple waited (somewhere in Pennsylvania):
I liked the pierced metal polka-dot umbrella at this gas station vignette (the security camera probably thought I was trying to case the joint as I took about 5 photos of this):

road trip
couldn't bear to leave all the marigolds behind, so we put some in a water bottle that fit in the car's cup holder
(point-camera-at-windshield + hold-camera-out-the-window techniques = photo quality even more amateurish than usual)
