Halloween sunrise

I took about 50 pictures of this sunrise - one of those moments that makes your breath catch - yeah, I guess they call that "breathtaking"!

is anything more stunning than a bright yellow maple tree on a grey fall day?

if you come to visit me, you can stop here for a snack on your way up the stairs

I so wanted to know the story here - I could see this group from a distance, because Superman's cape was flailing in the breeze. He and the man were alternately picking up that pile (of clothes?) and dropping it back down furiously - they appeared to be arguing, while the other couple waited (somewhere in Pennsylvania):

road trip

couldn't bear to leave all the marigolds behind, so we put some in a water bottle that fit in the car's cup holder
