September sunset

we've had some fantastic skies during the last week

During the drive home along Rt. 245, the best road in the county to take during sunset - a last glimpse (through a dirty windshield) of such an incredibly gorgeous evening I could have taken photos during the entire drive (but was too tired)

This farm along Rt. 364 is picturesque year-round.

twilight rainbow

after a day of steady rain & drizzle (which I'm not complaining about because we really needed it!) - the sunset sky had stunning shapes & colors, including a rainbow that seemed to spill right into a gully between hills behind our pond:
